Ain’t It Black gets back to their roots with a much hyped and beloved afro/latino event. It’s another installment of jamming, sweat-induced house-partying, the AIB family will be in full force with the africano flavour.
Expect the sultry sounds of South African house, namely: Kuduro, Reggaeton, Brazil, electro/funk and the hottest beats coming out from the Motherland to share with all!
The infamous 70el and Ulysses 82 will be manning the decks with some mystery guest DJs.
The motto: Don’t Pose. Just dance.

Photographer Florent Demarchez’s collection of images, reveal new initiatives which fight for a world on the edge of the global economy. Demarchez has followed the founders of Veja eco-shoes in Brazil to get an insight into this ‘Novo Mundo,’ or new world. Veja is step in the right direction, the ‘green’ company respects the rights of its workers and uses fair trade cotton and latex to make its shoes.The ‘Novo Mundo’ exhibition opens a window on to an area in the north east of Brazil, Cearà, where a co-operative of organic cotton producers are at work.
